About Copper
One morning I was waiting with a puppy for a vaccination, at the vets, when a police officer and a council ranger arrived carrying an injured pup. On examination by the vet, the pup was found to have been severely burned by his owner pouring a caustic liquid on him. The vet estimate this happened more than a week prior, and no treatment had been given. (I do have a graphic photo taken on this day at the vets)
We immediately offered to pay for any and all treatment he needed. And so Copper (named by the vet as he was seized by the Police) began his new life of being loved and cared for. He spent the next three weeks at the Vet Hospital and then came into foster care with me.
What an absolute delight Copper is! He loves EVERYTHING!
He is a happy, friendly, funny little fella who has made himself very comfortable in my home. He is toilet trained and goes in and out through the doggie door as he wishes.
He is great on leash and loves going for walks or for rides in the car. He is a smart little guy, who would love to go to puppy pre school when possible with his new family.
He is a playful guy, who is great with humans of all ages, and loves to play with toys and with the other dogs in my home.
We are located in Moree, northern NSW, and while Covid 19 is affecting all of us, you would need to drive to collect him, if you are the successful adopters.
Please click on the Enquire about this Pet button, and tell me as much as you can about what you can offer this most special boy.
Do you have other pets? Any children?
How long would Copper be alone during the day, if at all?
