About Nandi
Meet Nandi. Nandi is a special needs girl as she is believed to be deaf, to what extent we are unsure. We believe she has some type of hearing as she does respond to high pitched noises.
Nandi was a surrender through no fault of her own, she was surrendered to the shelter as her owner had moved onto a property and feared she would get lost and never come home.
Nandi has had a lot of training put into her as she knows all the hand signals, sit, come, stay etc, she is very responsive to them. Nandi is a very loving girl with no meanness in her what so ever. She loves all other animals and a cat was her best friend growing up.
Although Nandi is 8 this year she is still very active and healthy. She loves to go for walks and play fetch. She has a lot of love left to give and will just sit beside you all day looking at you for pats. She would make the perfect companion dog for someone who is home most of the day.
Nandi is between small and medium size.
Adoption details
The adoption process at the Goulburn Mulwaree Animal Shelter is relatively easy. We ask that if you are interested in a animal, please attend our Shelter in Goulburn to meet the animal and the Ranger team so that we can make sure that the animal is the right match for you. We do not take expressions of interest over the phone or via email.
Once you have decided on which future pet you would like to adopt from the Shelter, all that is required by you is to make a payment at the Animal Shelter by either eftpos or credit card, provide details for the microchip and registration paperwork and then pick up your future pet from the Council veterinary service provider once they have been de-sexed and vaccinated (Council staff will advise you when the animal is booked in at the veterinary clinic. This usually falls within 14 days of the purchase).
The following are the re-homing fees for dogs and cats,
Entire Dog (to be desexed after adoption) - $280.00
De-sexed Dog (de-sexed by previous owner) - $180.00
Entire Cat (to be desexed after adoption) - $200.00
De-sexed Cat (de-sexed by previous owner) - $120.00
The following is included with all sales,
Microchipping (identification details will be placed on the NSW Companion Animal Register)
Lifetime Registration (within NSW)
Vaccination
Worm Treatment
Vet Check
De-sexing (if required)
Please Note: All dogs and cats rescued from the Goulburn Mulwaree Animal Shelter are required to be de-sexed. Dogs and cats will not be sold as entire under any circumstances.

The Goulburn Mulwaree Animal Shelter is open by appointment only at this current time due to COVID-19, please phone to make an appointment if you would like to view the dog or cat in person
Please Note: The Goulburn Mulwaree Animal Shelter is closed on Sundays and all public holidays.
