Walter

Walter is a long termer - he has his quirks, but he would be great with someone who understands beagles and their ways.
Walter would be happiest as an only dog with teenage kids rather than little ones who he finds a little annoying! Walter loves a walk because then he can have a good sniff. In fact the sniffing is more important than the walk, so he could be easily entertained at home by hiding treats around the back yard and would be in heaven with a sniff toy or sandpit. He is very independent, affectionate but not too clingy.
Like many dogs, he would benefit from further training and going to doggy school to turn him into the best companion possible. Please give Lola a call at the shelter for more information and to meet this handsome man.
