PIP AND POPPY ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR APARTMENT LIVING.
Pip and Poppy are sweet older girls looking for their forever home together, as they are a bonded pair. They would suit an older couple/single or family with older children.
Pip enjoys exploring the backyard and playing with her soft toys and afterwards, likes laying in the sun. Pip is never far from you following you around wherever you go but not getting under your feet. When you are sitting down Pip like to have a cuddle and rub behind the ear. Pip is not a baker - she only barks if she hears a strange noise or the other dogs in the house are barking. Pip is a short hair girl who will just need a brush once a week to get the loose hair off. She is happy to let you brush her and is happy to be bathed.
Pip gets very excited when it is dinner time just loves her food. After dinner Pip is happy to sleep in her bed and have a quiet night. She is happy to go into her crate at bed time and sleep until morning. Pip is a bit shy but after a while getting to know you her personality will shine.
Pip is bonded with Poppy and the girls like to have a play and a rumble.
Poppy will sit on your lap for hours enjoying getting her belly rubbed, and when you stop, Poppy will put her paw up letting you know "More please!". Poppy will sit still while you brush her beautiful coat once or twice a week to keep her knot-free and is very well behaved while having a bath.
Poppy likes to have a walk around the yard and afterwards will find a nice place to lay down and enjoy the sun. Poppy is toilet trained and will let you know when she needs to go out. Poppy is not a barker but she will let you know when someone is around. She gets very excited when it is breakfast and dinner time, and just loves her food! She is definitely not a fussy eater.
At night Poppy likes to sit next to you or sit on your lap and fall asleep. Poppy is an inside girl and she will go in her crate at bedtime until it is time to get up in the morning. Like Pip, Poppy is a bit shy at first but it doesn't take long for her to warm up to you when you show her some love.
Medical notes
Poppy has a heart murmur and requires ongoing medication to treat it.
