About Zero
Hi, my name is Zero. I used to be a racing dog, but recently my life has changed for the better, and now I'm a pet, and let me tell you...I love it! There are lots of new things to get used, and sometimes it makes me nervous, but I'm trying hard to figure it all out. I'm living with a foster mum who is wonderful - if I follow her around she gives me pats and cuddles whenever I ask (which is often). As you'll see from my photos, I'm very good at helping my foster mum work from home! I have a greyhound foster sister, too. She's pretty nice. At home, we have comfortable beds and toys that we're allowed to play with. Then, when the foster mum jingles the lead, we get to go for walks. Oh joy...I love walks!
Now that I know how good it is to be a pet, what I really want is a family of my very own, that will love me forever. I have to confess, men make me a bit nervous, but I would try very hard to be a good boy, and to get to know and love everyone in my new family. I would like to have someone home a lot, but if they have to go to work, then another medium to large dog sister or brother would be nice too (but probably best if there’s no small dogs as I get a bit too excited by them!)
At Homeward Bound Hounds, we pride ourselves on matching the right dog to the right family. When responding to this post, please tell us:
• A bit about yourself, including your work patterns, and how often the dog will be home alone, and for how long at a time.
• About the people and pets you share your life with.
• The type and size of your residence / yard (is it securely fenced?)
• Where will your dog be kept when you're not at home? When you are at home? At night?
• Anything else you think will help us find the perfect dog for you!
