About Shaun
Shaun is a wonderful little fella, he is energetic, loves, and craves your attention and is very affectionate.
He is a very playful little dog and just loves playing with his toys alone, with you or with another dog.
Shaun MUST be rehomed with another small active middle-aged canine friend as he just loves to romp and play with his foster carer's dogs and having another canine companion also gives him confidence when he is out and about on his daily walks.
As Shaun is still active he will need a home where he can get out and about for his walks each day. He is currently walking about an hour or so a day and enjoys his outings to the park or beach and travels very well in the car so a home where he could be included in outings is essential.
Shaun is also happy when he’s lounging at home, sitting on your lap snoozing. He is the perfect companion for someone who is at home most of the time to give him the love he deserves. Shaun would not suit a home where is new owners were away for long hours of a day even with another dog.
Shaun's lovely coat will require regular brushing and grooming every 6-8 weeks so a home that can commit to this grooming routine is essential.
Last but certainly not least Shaun is an inside dog, gone are his days when he was left alone in the backyard so a home where Shaun will be permitted access inside and out as he pleases, sit on your lounges and of course sleep in a warm area inside preferably in your bedroom. He has been working hard on his housetraining and is doing very well with this. His new home will, of course, be a new environment and his new owner will need to set him up to succeed in this regard, however, if needed simple advice can be given on what to do to succeed in this regard.
