About Wallace
What can we tell you about Wallace, other than he's an absolute dream boat!
Excellent leash manners and super social, this boy hits it off with dogs of all sizes from chihuahuas to newfoundlands; he's currently living as an only dog but we think he'd do equally well with the right canine sibling.
Wallace's foster family describes him as "curious, smart, and incredibly sweet" and his only flaw is that he has a penchant for sneaking up onto couches or beds when left unattended - rather than pine after his human family when they go, he much prefers to help himself to the prime napping spots! Speaking of helping himself, he's still learning that food left on counters is not food left for Wallace - so his new home will also need to get into the habit of ensuring his access to the kitchen is limited while he learns the rules of treats on benches.
With more energy than the average couch potato, Wallace would prefer a home with a yard to zoom around in, and an active family who will take him for a few longer walks to stretch his legs (he currently gets two walks a day, around 40ish minutes each).
** Wallace is not cat tolerant, and would not be suited to a home with pocket pets. While he plays well with small dogs, only applicants with toy breeds who can demonstrate experience having introduced their resident dog to greyhounds previously will be considered at this time **
