About China
China is an affectionate and gentle lady, her favourite things in the world are being around people and snacking on carrots. She loves lying on her back and getting pats, or resting her head on your legs for a good vantage point to observe whatever activity you are undertaking, and like any greyhound, she is a big fan of a couch.
China would love to have a home with an outdoor area to sniff around and stretch her legs. She has great house manners and is fully toilet trained.
Although she is a social girl and loves making friends with larger dogs, China is quite anxious around smaller breeds and prefers to avoid them. She is very good on a leash and will happily walk for whatever distance her human companion desires, she just enjoys being out with her people.
A real love bug at heart, China does need a patient forever home who will give her time to warm up and bring out her sweet affectionate side as she can be a bit of a shy slow starter. Because she takes so much comfort from her human family, she would prefer a home where she is not left alone for traditional FT worker hours.
** China is not small animal tolerant and would not be suited to a home with small dogs, cats, or pocket pets **
Adoption details
1) Please email adopt@amazinggreys.com.au
2) We will send you our adoption inquiry form so we can learn more about you, your family and lifestyle.
3) Amazing Greys conducts a house check and introduces you to a greyhound we think matches your family and lifestyle
4) If we both agree that the greyhound is a good fit for your family, he/she goes on a 3- 4 week trial with you
5) After a successful trial period, the greyhound moves in permanently with your family.
We will keep in touch with you throughout the process and help you and your greyhound settle in.
