About Queenie
Our wolfhound lovers will adore this girl.
With a strong name, a beautiful face and a heart looking for love.
Introducing the ever so beautiful Queenie, a stunning approximately 3 year old wolfhound X who is looking for a foster to adopt home. A home that's patient, kind and loving and is willing to understand that she needs some time to adjust and settle into her new house and lifestyle.
Queenie is looking for a family to royally take care of her, a home where she is the sole animal and is able to come inside to sleep especially at night.
She will need 6ft and over fencing and unfortunately isn't suitable for rural fence living.
Best suited to a home with teenagers or no kids, this girl doesn't ask for much in terms of exercise. Shes happy with a sunny spot in the yard, a brisk walk when she's found her confidence and a snuggle with you once she's trusted.
To make the transition from her foster home to new home, she will do best in the Hunter valley or Central Coast regions but we will extend further into Sydney for the right home.
She's not too interested in interacting with other dogs and has had limited socialisation in her young life so needs a home that is understanding of her needs and willing to work on this or keep her separate from other dogs in public.
She is currently located in foster care in the Newcastle region but being a shy girl and needing to build up her trust. She is looking for a calm and committed home willing to foster to adopt her to give her a little longer to understand her new world.

In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
