This gorgeous girl can melt a hard heart in seconds.
Fir is a beautiful natured puppy who loves attention, exploring new things, cuddles and tummy rubs. Fir is a clever girl, who can sit calmly for her food and has begun toilet training using a designated mat/towel. She is not toilet trained yet. Fir sleeps indoors with her siblings and sleeps through the night. She is a very quick eater, and is motivated by food, making training much easier. Fir has yet to be exposed to a lead or other dogs outside of her foster home, and therefore her new family will need to spend the time training and socialising her.
Fir has been exposed to cats and chickens. She shows a healthy and normal interest in the chickens and has been known to bark at the cat…from a safe distance of course!
Fir is a confident puppy who won’t be afraid to approach new people with the hope of attention and pats. This little girl (like all puppies) loves to chew, run around and play with her siblings in her spare time. She loves following the resident dog around the yard too, although is very cautious that she doesn’t get trodden on. Fir happily follows her carer around the garden as she chews bark and twigs on her travels.
Fir would benefit from a home where people pay her regular attention, where she would be included in all family outings and be allowed to cuddle up to people regularly.
As her carer, Fir will always be remembered for her puppy dog eyes, as even when your busy, the look she gives you compels you to stop what you are doing just so you can give her cuddles.
