About Peri
🍔 OMG! We are peri peri excited to tell you this story! 🍟
We hope it's not too cheesy? 🧀 A few weeks ago we had reports of a black kitten zipping in and out of traffic at a local fast food store. Our dedicated volunteers headed out in search for this kitten but could never find her, despite many search and rescue attempts!
Over the next few weeks we kept receiving reports of this mystery kitten and we thought for sure that the Hamburlgar was up to his sneaky old tricks again 🕵️♀️ until finally someone was able to catch who we now call Peri!
Why Peri? Well she was spicy for starters, about mild to medium on the chilli-scale 🌶 and who can resist a tender, crisp Peri Peri Kitten Purrito? 🌯 We certainly can't!
So we got Peri into one of our lovely foster homes and sent her on her way to see what she refers to as the 'Dogtor' 👩⚕️ Everything checks out fine and she is a picture of health! We've managed to sweeten her spice with a little side of aioli sauce and avocato 🐱🥑 and she's ready to meet some new people very soon!
Now for the serious stuff. Peri needs a family! But not just any family. Peri can be super shy at times, and she really isn't a fan of her dog friends just yet. She will not suit families with children under the age of 12 as tiny humans can be frightening and might bring out those pearly whites. Peri's ideal family will be a relaxed, quiet set of people with older children or no children. A calm and quiet dog might be okay if she is allowed the correct introductions and time to settle. Peri will very easily learn to trust those around her and has already formed a lovely bond with her carer, which we are positive will happen quickly with her new family. You just need treats! She is an active member of the family and will comfortably explore her surroundings.
If you think you might suit Peri's purrsonality, please email us at madcattersrescue@outlook.com.au and tell us about your family, and why you think Peri will suit your home. The most suited family will be sent a link to our adoption form so we can arrange a meet and greet.
Peri's adoption fee is $250.00 and includes a health check, sterilisation, microchip, 1st vaccination and she has also been treated for parasites.
Our cats and kittens thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue animal ✨
