About Patch
Hello! My name is Patch, or Patchy to my friends.
I’m a 2 years young staffy/fox terrier X who is looking for my FURever home!
I am a bit of a shy boy and would love a new family who can help me feel more confident. My foster mum thinks I’ve come out of my shell loads since I’ve been with her. And lots of people ask her about me when we’re on our walks, which I think is a good thing!
I’m perfectly housetrained, I’m very good at sleeping through the night on my own bed next to you, and I’m SUPER affectionate. Kisses on the chin for everyone! One of my favourite things is to curl up next to you on the sofa and I will happily nap there too whilst you go about your day.
I am still learning how to be a dog in the big wide world so there are some things I will need my forever family to be patient with me with. I am getting much more confident at walkies, but loud noises or lots of people scare me and I can’t go off my lead yet. I haven’t had the opportunity to be around children or many other dogs, but my tail starts wagging like mad when they’re around so I think I might like them!
I would love a family that are home more often than not, who are committed to providing me with ongoing training and an environment which I can thrive in. I really do have so much love to give and I can’t wait to meet my future forever humans!
