About Liddy and Spot
*In foster care in Marrickville, Sydney*
Liddy and Spot are brothers and best friends! These curious, playful, happy boys love getting into mischief, curling up together for a snooze, and enjoying lots of snacks and treats :)
Sassy and confident, Liddy will tell you in no uncertain terms when he wants your affection by circling you, purring loudly, nudging you persistently with his head and flopping onto his back for belly rubs. He's always quick to claim the warm patch on the bed when you sit up and will cuddle up for some smooches! Spot is the more reserved of the pair and can be quite skittish when meeting new people, though he loves to stay close by his people - and once he gets to know you, he does appreciate a nice head rub or chin scratch.
These gorgeous lads are inseparable and will move together from room to room, crying and meowing if they can't see each other. Though Liddy will try to muscle Spot away from his food sometimes, Spot is usually the instigator of their wrestling matches, tackling Liddy out of nowhere!
Like all Maggie's pets, Liddy and Spot are microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

OUR IDEAL HOME: We'll do best in a small household of 1-2 adults and possibly 1 older child, who'll give us all the space we need to get comfortable in our new surroundings. We like lots of playtime and love our laser pointer, bits of string and mice toys! An indoor life will suit us best.
OUR ENERGY LEVEL: We're still really young, so we have kittenish energy - bouts of rambunctious play mixed with hours of snoozing!
OUR SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: We can get a bit spooked by too much noise and activity, so older children who'll be able to understand our personalities will be the best match for us.
OUR SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: We could probably adapt to life with other pets - but we'd definitely be happiest and better suited to being the kings of our domain!

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
