Evie ~ 2.5 year old boxer ~ On Trial 8/5/20

Introducing gorgeous Evie a 2 and a half year old boxer who has the most adorable squishy boxer face ever ! Evie is a bubbly and lovely girl who is typical of the boxer breed - she’s friendly and adores everyone and of course is a total boxer clown.

Evie is highly dog social - she wants all the dogs she meets to be her new best friend - she will play bow and lick them and jump in excitement when they play in return. Due to her effervescent nature she is best suited to a home with an existing male dog of a similar age and energy level. She is too boisterous for older or more placid dogs.

Evie’s ideal home is one with boxer lovers experienced with the breed - her perfect fur sibling would be another boxer around 2-3 years. She requires a dig proof and securely fenced yard (preferably colourbond with concrete or pavers at the base) as she will dig to China under the fence to go out and play unsupervised! She won’t suit a home with pocket pets , cats or chickens as she loves them a little too much (not in a way that is good for the chickens!). Likewise she won’t suit acreage with rural height fencing as she will break out and get up to too much boxer mischief becoming a nuisance with the neighbours .

Mischief-making aside, Evie is a delightful and cheerful natured girl who will make you smile with her affection and antics. Evie loves her humans so much that she’ll need to be allowed inside the house at her new home and she would love to sleep inside on her own cosy bed (or sharing with her new fur sibling !) . She is way too social to be an only dog or to be home alone all day when you work.

With all her puppy-like energy Evie would love a long walk each day and a romp at a dog beach or in a dog park if you have one close by . She would suit a very dog social suburb where she can join you at the local dog cafe. Due to her energy we are after a home with no young toddlers or kids under 15 years.
