About Polaris
My name is Polaris, named after the North star or the Pole star. My foster mumma thought is suited me well, she calls me polar for short too, it helps that I'm the same colour as a polar bear.
I have lived on the streets most of my life so no one knows my exact age but they say I am roughly between 2-3years old. I'm still just a baby really. I am a quiet and gentle guy, I am still settling in so I haven't come out of my shell too much just yet. I have never really lived in a home before and am new to all that a home brings. Even though everything is very different for me I am still just a sweetie and what some would call bomb proof.
I am not afraid of much, sometimes I can be cautious but hey, I'm learning here haha. I am definitely not a fighter, I am a calm an observant young gentleman. I like to be around other animals and I don't mind those two legged kids or loud noises either. I am definitely not a polar bear who is bitey or scratchy but more like one of those teddy bears that my foster family have who likes to sit and watch out the window. I like to hang out and be near you but not really a lap kind of guy. I like to be with you but can also handle being by myself.
Some times my wanderer side comes back out and I long to go for a walk. I would love to go to someone who could train me on a harness so I can go exploring :) Or even better, an owner who has a nice cat enclosure I can have some me time in and sniff the fresh air.
Polar is still learning to live a different way but he is still very young and we believe will adjust quickly. He is already transitioning very well. Polar has not been shown a lot of love in his past but is still very gentle and calm. He needs an owner who will understand the journey he is taking and would suit someone who patient and understanding. If you believe you could be a good fit please send us a message so you can meet the cutest mini polar bear xx
