Cajole

Play all day, run just for fun, splash till you crash and love as tight as a glove. This sums up our boy Cajole.

Cajole is a very sweet boy who loves attention. He’s always ready for a cuddle and loves to snuggle up in your lap on the couch.

He is a very active and energetic dog, who almost fits the category of annoying. This boy was born for fun. He loves to play. Tug of war, chasing, you name the game and he is ready to go. He is such a goof, always falling over his own feet - classic silly puppy. He loves his walks and walks well on lead.

Car rides are another highlight of his day! No excuse not to take him on the adventure. At night he has now mastered sleeping in a crate and going to the toilet out on the grass.

Cajole came into the pound with his sister with no life skills. He had no exposure to the world outside and was not socialised with other dogs. He still shows some signs of fear meeting new dogs by barking and once he gains that confidence, he tries the sneaky hump.

We are looking for a confident and experienced owner to ensure this continues improving. He will need committed socialising with dogs to ensure he develops good introduction manners. He is a young pup that will need that ongoing support from a clear owner.

When Cajole first came into care with us he did have a bad case of demodectic mange. This is not contagious and his progress is incredible. Short term his treatment is medication and weekly medicated baths but there are no long term effects. Dogs never like baths, but this one is not normal and makes his weekly wash fun. He loves the water and the attention.

We are looking for an experienced home for Cajole to annoy. They will need to be confident in developing his social skills and continue his training, starting with an off button. He will not suit being home alone. We are looking for a family without young crazy kids, as that will be his place in the family. This boy is looking a home where he can join in on the fun.
