I am a girl, my name is Cinda & and I'm bonded to my Mamma, ""Misty"". We come as a pigeon pair. I am so, so, so lucky to be with a very gentle & loving human foster family. The kids think I'm great & we have regular snuggle, cuddle, total LOVIN sessions.

When we were rescued, all 3 of us had anxiety issues & we can all be a little shy until we have learned to trust you. Time, patience & understanding has seen us all come out of our furry shells! My human foster family call me ""Galaxy"" & it makes me preen, I love it. ""From a Galaxy far, far away ........!""

Leafy greens are my favourite, my Mamma taught me they are great for your health! I do get excited when I hear the salad bag rustling & I will instantly rush up to the cage door to see what ya got! I've been told I'm the most intelligent out of the 3 of us. I love to watch T.V, I'm inquisitive & the calmest out of us 3. I have beautiful long brindle coloured piggie hair - perfect for grooming & placing bows in!! I will need to have my claws clipped now & then too - I AM partial to a little pampering. I do enjoy living with my Mamma so I hope there is a family out there who is willing to adopt a double whammy of fun, love, cuddles & adoration. We will need a secure place to live, away from large pets as we are not that keen on loud noises. We do tend to find places to hide & snuggle in peace & quiet.

Just like all guinea pigs I love to bury myself under leaves and vegetation. I love tunnels too. I eat a variety of foods - I'm still trying to decide on my favourites but fresh greens every day are a must. We need to be fed twice a day and our diet also includes hay, pellets and washed fruit and veges.

We're a bit more heat tolerant than rabbits. At the moment, in the heat of the Pilbara, I go into a safe outdoor cage in the late afternoons with leaves to play and burrow in. During the day I am inside the house where it's cooler.

What else will I need to be happy? A gnawing block, a brush once or twice a week, fresh water in a metal spouted drip bottle and my own sleeping area - with a cover on top. Guinea pigs need their home cleaned every day and their bedding changed every week. We can live for up to ten years. And we make great pets for gentle children.
