About Dottie ~ beautiful 2yo Staffy x (On Trial 27/4/20)
Hello, my name is Dottie! I am a staffy x girl about 2 years old with big velvety ears but unfortunately they don’t work as I am deaf.
I recently delivered 9 puppies who have all been adopted so now I am looking for my forever home. I am an inside dog and love to sleep on the end of your bed but will sleep on my own in your room if you prefer. I am toilet trained and always go outside to one spot in the yard. Being deaf, I respond to hand signals and understand sit, stay and come. I rarely bark and I do look forward to my daily walk. I walk well on a lead and zig zag a bit so as to check out both sides of the footpath then soon settle to walk beside you quietly.
I will require high, sturdy fencing as I have been known to go walkabout when the fencing was not secure and I do not want to end up in the pound again. I would like someone to be home more often than not as I don’t like to be left alone for long periods of time or I'd like a home with a compatible dog for company. If I am left alone for extended periods, this is when I get very worried and try to look and call for you.
My skin is a bit sensitive. I sometimes develop a red rash which has been easily controlled with oatmeal shampoo and conditioner. If I develop a really red spot, a tiny bit of Dermaid cream does the trick.
I am a happy, healthy, friendly girl who loves people and gets on well with other dogs. I would suit a family with children older than 12 or a couple or single person with no children. I am currently living with a bossy cat and we get along fine.
I do love a cuddle but am not demanding and will lie quietly beside you if you are reading or watching tele. I am such a beautiful girl with a lot of love to give.
I am in care at Raymond Terrace. If you would like to meet me, please fill out the online questionnaire first at https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt and any further questions, please email Joan at joanpatis@yahoo.com.au
My adoption fee is $350 which includes desexing, vaccinations, treatment for fleas and worms, and microchipping.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal cheques.
