PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING FOR A DOG

We are very concerned about the health of our volunteers and their families.
To protect them, we require you to read the following and answer honestly before any meet and greets can be organised.

IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS

Any of these symptoms, or any family member displaying, we ask you to wait before applying for a dog -

* Coughing or sneezing
* runny or blocked nose
* shortness of breath
* high temperature or fever
* sore throat
* aches or pains
* other flu like symptoms

If you have returned from overseas or been on a cruise anywhere in the world, please do not apply within 2 weeks of your return to Australia.

If you are in self isolation, please do not apply, you need to stay at home.

Thank you for valuing our carers health, knowing that a false declaration will endanger them and any future animals that we would be unable to help.

Aristotle – male Jack Russel Terrier mix, 12y 4m, MC 900012000564911

Maeve – female Border Collie mix, 9y 9m, MC 956000001876150

Aristotle & Maeve are a lovely pair of mature aged dogs looking for a place to call home together. They are both quiet, affectionate, and low maintenance pets. They are house trained, friendly, and happy to be couch potatoes between their short daily walks, which makes an apartment suitable for them. Maeve doesn’t cope well with stairs due to a past hip issue, so walk-up units would not be suitable. Despite a limp, she always goes for walks with the biggest smile on her face. They are both good on lead, food motivated, and friendly towards people. It is unclear how they are with other animals due to current social distancing rules.
