IMPORTANT NOTICE

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING FOR A DOG

We are very concerned about the health of our volunteers and their families.
To protect them, we require you to read the following and answer honestly before any meet and greets can be organised.

IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS

Any of these symptoms, or any family member displaying, we ask you to wait before applying for a dog -

* Coughing or sneezing
* runny or blocked nose
* shortness of breath
* high temperature or fever
* sore throat
* aches or pains
* other flu like symptoms

If you have returned from overseas or been on a cruise anywhere in the world, please do not apply within 2 weeks of your return to Australia.

If you are in self isolation, please do not apply, you need to stay at home.

Thank you for valuing our carers health, knowing that a false declaration will endanger them and any future animals that we would be unable to help.

Chef is a sweet soul looking for a forever home with an inclusive family who will shower him with love, let him sleep inside, offer lots of playtime, walks and training. He is looking to be the only resident canine and has not been tested with cats. He prefers human company and stimulation during the day to keep from getting bored, so please do not apply if you would be leaving him for long periods (including post COVID-19 life).

Passers by often comment how graceful he is when he’s walking so I think it’s only fitting he be known for his gorgeous long legs and lean physique.

Whilst in foster care he has learnt how to interact with young children but due to his size and playfulness he would be better suited to older children if there are any in the home.

He is searching for a dog savvy family to continue his training and will learn best from a confident and experienced teacher. What you put in is what you will get out of him.
