About Snowy
Please meet the friendliest guy in the world! Snowy is a staffy x born on 1st December, 2014 who is so super excited to find his forever family.
We do not normally post an animal's sad back story in an adoption profile ... but we are making an excepting with Snowy.
Snowy has been chained up all of his life - on a very short chain and he has never known what it is like to be loved..... we so much want that to change for him as he has the biggest heart with so much love to give the lucky family who will love him as their own.
Despite all he has been through ... Snowy is a super happy boy, who is always smiling! He has a goofy personality, that shines through with his funny little antics! He loves a cuddle and a belly scratch and when his adoring eyes look at you - you can't help but melt a little.
Snowy loves everyone ... whether they have 2 legs or 4! He gets along great with with other dogs, however he would be best not to be rehomed with cats or pocket pets. Here at the facility Snowy really wanted to play with our guinea pig! As will all new family members, a meet and greet with have to do be done with any existing dogs in your home.
He loves to be out exploring the world with you and he has super nice lead manners when walking. He shows no sign of food aggression and although he doesn't seem to be bothered by loud noises, we would recommend that he be allowed inside during thunderstorms and fireworks where he knows he is safe.
Snowy's grooming needs will be light and he will require a moderate amount of exercise. He will require secure fencing, although he doesn't jump, he will find any holes that may be in your fencing.
Snowy is a such a happy and affectionate guy and an absolute delight and would make a super loyal companion for the right family. He is a stunning boy who would love to be in a home where he is included as a member of the family and is involved in the day to day activities. Snowy will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
This incredibly beautiful young man will make a loyal companion and wonderful addition to a lucky family.
Snowy's adoption fee is $450 and includes his desexing, lifetime registration and 3 x training lessons with thanks to Wyong Dog Training. Snowy is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with his vaccinations.
To enquire more or to meet Snowy, please drop in to the facility or call 02 43044350 or email gosfordpound@gmail.com and speak to one of our friendly staff.
Snowy is looking forward to meeting you.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please fill out our Expression of Interest Form here:
https://form.jotform.co/92231142675857
This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Alternatively, you are welcome to phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
