About Sprout
** UPDATE...SPROUT IS ON TRIAL WITH HIS NEW FAMILY!! ** Sprout found himself at the local Pound, after being found loose on the street.
He did his pound time, shaking with fear in the corner of his pen, and then came into foster care with us.
Obviously we have no idea what his life was like prior to being at the pound, but it can’t have been good! He is an extremely loving little pup, who loves being with another playful puppy, but is very scared of anything new. He has spent his time in care learning that life is to be enjoyed, and has followed the other dogs in learning what is fun etc.
Sprout is now enjoying his walks out in the sunshine, he has mastered the doggie door, and has toilet trained himself, with very few accidents. However, his first instinct when something gives him a fright, is to run and hide......so good fencing is a must for his forever home. As you can see from the photos, he loves a cuddle on my lap in the evening. He sleeps really well, and is crate trained (he loves his crate - it is his place of sanctuary and safety. If you are successful in adopting him, and don’t have a crate, you can buy one from us, if you wish.)
All his vet work is done, and we have quizzed the vets on their opinion of breed mix
He is a fantastic traveller in the car.
So, Sprout is a gorgeous little chap, who needs a very special home with folk who are home more often than not.....even when Covid 19 goes away. He is very much a work in progress, but will repay you a hundred-fold, if you let him.
Please, if you have lots of love in your heart, and want to REALLY help a pup in need - email by clicking on the Enquire about this pet button. Tell me as much as you can about yourself and your life. Do you have any pets? Any kids and their ages? How long would Sprout be alone during the day, if at all?
PLEASE NOTE we are located in Moree. We have no flights in or out of town, so if you are successful in adopting Sprout, you would need to drive to collect him. You are allowed, in this current time to travel to adopt a dog, from within NSW.
