whats kickin', little chicken?

The names Felix - hey, how you doing? The name Felix means 'lucky' and boy I'm really hoping it will be my lucky day soon.

I've been in the care of RSPCA since early Feb. I was brought in by a ranger and unfortunately nobody came forward to collect me. I was really scared and unsure when I first arrived, so the peeps here sent me out on foster to gain some confidence and experience a loving home. Since being out on foster I've made steady improvements and I'm becoming a little more confident day by day.

What does my perfect home look like? Well...this is what I imagine. A calm and experienced home that has ideally had a timid dog before, that will give me lots of time and patience to adjust to my new life. Definitely no Lil kids for me please, I do really enjoy being around other dogs and would preferably like to be rehomed with a mature, social dog. I will need a lot of guidance in my new home and will need positive and gentle exposure to new and different experiences.

Also, you should probably know that I'm a smart cookie and will need to be kept busy and entertained. I like to use my noggin' and would appreciate it if my new humans worked on keeping my busy mind active as long as keeping up with my physical requirements.

In summary, I'm a cool doggo. I'm looking for an experienced home to take me on as a project dog and work on my confidence-building skills. I will make a great, loyal best friend in time - I just need to be given the opportunity!
