Gilligan is a kitten with personality plus – he is a very social kitten who loves interaction with everyone around him, he is friendly, affectionate, playful and utterly adorable.

With his big, mesmerizing golden eyes and his beautiful ginger fur, Gilligan is a super cute boy who would suit a family of people of different ages. He will also need a dog and/or cat to be best fur pals with. He is absolutely not suitable as an only pet.

Gilligan is a very energetic kitten who loves to play, climb and zoom the room until he runs out of steam. But he is still learning how to use his claws and they are sharp, so you will need to monitor his interactions with very small children.

When he is ready to nap, Gilligan will seek you out and cuddle up to you (and on you!) while using his very big purr to let you know how happy he is. He is great to chill with on the sofa when you are watching a movie as he’ll happily kitten nap right there with you.

Gilligan will NOT cope with being left alone during the day so we will be looking for a home that can meet his needs (for the 15-20 year commitment required) beyond the Covid-19 restrictions.

So, if you are thinking about applying for Gilligan, you will need to consider Gilligan's quality of life and the time to commit to him once life gets back to normal.

Dandy Cat Rescue is receiving a much larger amount of applications than normal (as other rescues and shelters are), and we will be very thorough in reviewing applications in the best interests of our cats and kittens.
