About Lilly
I am Lilly and I am a 10 month old Jack Russell x Mini Foxie
Need to get this out first encase you stop reading – I get a little scared and nervous when I first meet people but if you just leave me to come to you when I’m ready – my curiosity usually gets the better of me in 10 – 15 minutes and then I’m ready to come out of my shell a bit.
But once I really get to know now that's another story - when I'm comfortable with you I will show you love and smiles.
As I am still a young lady, I am still learn some of my training but my foster mum says I'm very clever and learning new things each day.
I am a happy girl who loves zoomies, water and tug of war and of course when I’m comfortable with you – cuddles!! My foster mum says I'm a great hot water bottle!
I am good with my manners and I love spending time with my family. At the moment I am with a fur brother – he is staffy size and I'm comfortable with him - bit nervous around bigger dogs.
I am great with my human siblings - I love hanging out with them, whether they are doing school work or outside playing - I'm with them and just love it.
My foster mum has a cat (I make sure I leave him alone - he has nails!) - I wouldn't have a problem living with one.
I would very much like to live with another fur friend for company and playing but someone who is just happy to play and then chill with the family. I could also live with no other animals, as long as I get plenty of daily exercise and have lots of fun with you I will be happy!
Once I am comfortable and settled I show my true self – my foster mum says I’m gorgeous and very loving!
If you are okay with giving me that chance after my first impression (and it’s improving all the time as I meet new people) then please click on the adoption application link!
Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
