About Dutch ~ 2 year old male cat (On Trial 26/04/2020)
Are you searching for a new best buddy? Someone to watch TV with, to follow you from room to room, to work alongside and to cuddle up at the end of the day with?
Meet Dutch, our two year old, curious and friendly, tabby boy. With big green eyes and an ever so handsome face, Dutch is bound to win over the hearts of everyone he meets.
Dutch was adopted from the SoCares Animal Facility when he was just a kitten, two years later, Dutch was returned to SoCares, left in the overnight kennels. We have no idea why! Dog Rescue Newcastle brought Dutch into care so he could continue to live in a home environment like he deserves.
Dutch would suit a home where he is the only cat. It is not known how he interacts with dogs, but one thing is for sure - he loves people. Dutch would easily slip into a busy household, where he has plenty of opportunities to interact with humans. He would make a fantastic family pet. He is very outgoing and playful and loves chasing balls and playing with his toys. He uses his litterbox without issue and loves his food!
He would love to be allowed on the couch and on your bed - and you would have to promise not to get angry if he decides to snuggle up on a pile of clean clothes! He is a well-behaved boy and hasn’t shown an inclination to jumping on kitchen benches or dinner tables, and would rather snuggle on up on your feet.
Dutch would benefit from a cat tower to climb, spaces to explore and hide, a scratching post and a snuggly bed. He also loves looking out windows - but they will need to have flyscreens because Dutch is an indoor only cat!
Dutch is available for adoption to an indoor-only home and his adoption fee is $150. Dutch is in foster care in Rankin Park NSW. Dutch is desexed and up to date with all vet work. He is a healthy and happy boy. If you're interested in adopting Dutch, please click on this link to complete our application form https://form.jotform.co/93127959159875

(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
