About Queenie
BEFORE SENDING US AN EMAIL, PLEASE NOTE THE TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS REGARDING A MEET AND GREET. WE CAN ONLY ACCEPT APPLICATIONS (AT THE MOMENT) WITHIN THE SYDNEY METROPOLITAN AREA.
Meet the new Queenie, whose days of producing litter after litter are just a distant memory! Queenie is a 8 year old maltese cross princess, who is learning to love the luxuries of life. Her favorite place is wherever you are, and if that’s the couch, all the better! Queenie is quiet, good in the car and is learning to love walks, and now even waits at the door to get going! She now walks well on and off leash, recently strutting her stuff at the dog park. While Queenie is being very brave and has come a long way since coming into care, she needs a family that understands that she will need some time to settle in and learn to trust them.
Queenie must be rehomed with a small/medium sized companion dog of similar age as she loves to play, wrestle and chase, however, she finds some bigger, more boisterous dogs overwhelming. She would be best suited to a quiet home preferably with people who are home more often than not because she loves her humans. Young children would probably be a bit too much for this little lady. Queenie’s new family will need to continue her daily socialisation, walks and training to make her the best dog she can be. Once she is settled, she will be your cuddle buddy, your confidant and your best friend. Queenie is an inside dog (she is housetrained) but loves pottering around the garden on a sunny days. If Queenie sounds like the new family member you’ve been looking for, please send us as much information as possible about your current dog, your family and lifestyle so we can see if you are both a good match.
