About Izzy
**PLEASE READ THROUGH IZZY'S PROFILE IN FULL BEFORE APPLYING**
Meet Izzy,
She is an extra special girl looking for a patient and understanding home that can continue to build her confidence and help her feel safe and comfortable in her new home. Izzy's new family will need to be experienced with caring for rescue dogs or have had rescue dogs with similar behaviours before.
Izzy is incredibly sweet but sadly has been diagnosed with significant anxiety as well as a fear of unfamiliar people. Izzy has come a huge way and is unrecognizable from the dog she was, her foster family have done an incredible job with her behaviour training.
Izzy is sweet and loving once she feels safe with you and enjoys getting smothered with kisses and cuddles all day long. She will usually beg to be picked up and pampered, so if you're looking for a couch buddy then Izzy is suited for you. She is very playful and loves her toys, especially if they squeak. She's got loads of energy so she will be looking for a home that will keep her active, but if your having a lazy day Izzy is great with keeping herself occupied.
Once Izzy gets to know you, she will be your best friend and never leave your side. She is full of love but needs to find that perfect someone to share it with. She is loyal and kind and can't wait to find her forever loving home. Izzy will need a home with Adults Only and will need to be the only animal.
Izzy is being treated for anxiety with medication and her adopters will need to come back to the Second Chance Animal Rescue Shelter for revisits with our Veterinary Team.
**Application Process** When on the Pet Rescue profile push the "enquire about this pet" button. Follow the prompts to "send enquiry now" and in the message section please place information about the home you can provide. Include current/past pets and their breed, children including ages that live with you or visit, and any other information relevant to training/exercise/energy requirements. The information you provide helps us match the dog you've applied for to the most suitable home. We use this information in lieu of an application form. We do not take applications for dogs over the phone. We aim to reply to all applications within 5 business days. All of our dog meet and greets occur at the adoption center in Craigieburn. The majority of our dogs are in a foster home not at the shelter so you need to apply via the website to meet them. Thank you. www.secondchanceanimalrescue.com.au ...because they all deserve one!
