Misty ~ 6mo Cattle x Kelpie pup (On Trial 26/4/20)

Hi, my name is Misty and I am a Cattle X Kelpie who is full of personality! At 6 months of age I am still a puppy but a very willing learner and treat focused.

I am a very active pup; I have a strong run/chase instinct typical of my breed. This comes out when I see birds, lizards, even flies, and sometimes other dogs but I am learning to sit and wait while other dogs and people pass. I haven’t yet met a cat but I think I would give chase if it ran. I might also round up young children so primary age children would be better suited.

I love to play with my yard toys and I’m learning to chase and retrieve a ball. I walk well on a loose lead but my walks are for adventure at this stage, I stop, look, sniff often, and back track in case I’ve missed something. I also collect things as I walk, such sticks, flowers, bottle tops and the neighbour’s paper.

I am house trained and sleep inside all night. I don’t have the run of the house as I am a collector of all things that don’t belong to me and I shouldn’t touch. During the day I play mainly outside but can go inside to my bed when I feel like it. I sit and wait for my meals but may be a little food aggressive if given the opportunity in the presence of another dog.

I currently live with a senior Staffy X and whilst I love to play rumbles with her, she gets tired too easily… then grumpy! If I find a home with another dog that likes to play that would be awesome as I do get bored by myself.

I love human company and attention, cuddles, belly scratches and romps. I just love to be part of whatever is going on. I would love to be with an active family who understands my breed (and my age) and is willing to continue with my training so I can be the best of breeds. I can’t wait to meet you and start my next life!

My adoption fee is $500 and I am desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for fleas and worms.
