About Sage ~ 3 year old female cat (On Trial 15/4/20)
Sage is a stunning 3 year old girl looking for her forever home. As you can see she has the most amazing green eyes and cute pink nose. She is a very petite little girl weighing under 3kgs with such little paws!
Sage hasn’t been in care long. She had been left at a shelter with her two 5 month old kittens who are also now in care with DRN. She has settled quite well. She has obviously been someone’s pet in the past as she is very affectionate and likes a pat and loves to be wherever you are.
Sage doesn’t like being picked up so we don’t feel she would be suitable to a family with young kids. She is unsure of new cats and dogs so we are thinking a household without dogs would suit her and if you have another cat, slow introductions would be needed.
Sage has a healthy appetite and lets you know when she is hungry with a little meow. She could benefit from putting a little weight on which should come naturally once she is desexed this week. She needs to be a strictly indoor cat unless you have a cat enclosure.
Sage is lovely cat and would make great company! If you would like to adopt Sage, please contact us by emailing catsandkittensdrn@gmail.com She is located at Merewether Heights NSW and needs to be adopted locally to Newcastle.
Sage is available for adoption to an indoor-only home and her adoption fee is $150. She will be vaccinated, microchipped and desexed which is all included in the adoption fee. Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal cheques.
