About Tippy
Hi, my name is Tippy and I am a 10 month old BC x Kelpie, currently living on the Northside of Brisbane with my foster family. I have lots of energy and find lots of interesting things to investigate, along with my fur foster brother and sister and my 2 human foster brothers.
Coming from a farm in NSW, I had no experience of family life but since moving to Brisbane, I have been learning to walk nicely on a lead, wait for my dinner and sit when asked. I am still working on my recall and a few other manners.
I really like mum’s chickens but she won’t let me near them and she hasn’t introduced me to cats yet. I get on well with my fur brother and sister and other dogs I meet on my daily walks, although I do find them a bit scary at times.
I am quite timid but getting braver every day and I am now looking for an active family, hopefully with a dog already, who understands the requirements of a dog of my breed and who are willing to continue my training to help me grow in confidence and become the best dog I can be.
If you think that you might be the family for me, please complete the application form.
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we may not respond to your enquiry if you do not complete the application form in full.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
***Please note - due to COVID19, Interstate adoptions have been suspended except for those between NSW and VIC, that do not cause extra unnecessary movement or socialisation of people. Meet & greets will not proceed as normal, and we have implemented protocols for hand over of dogs being adopted locally, to ensure the safety and protection of our adopters and our volunteers. We appreciate your understanding and working with us through this difficult time.
