Anai

This beautiful girl’s life has changed dramatically recently from living tied up on an industrial site to enjoying all the love and fun in foster care. She has a beautiful nature and is very affectionate and loving. Anai is a very loyal and loving girl who will form a beautiful bond with her owners. She is still learning about the good life and can be unsure in new environments but with the right guidance she is and will continue to make good progress. Anai is a medium sized dog who is only knee height on the average person.

Anai is currently living with two small dogs and has met other dogs while in care and she is friendly with them all. She would be able to live with or without a doggy companion in her forever home. She is also sharing the home with some pocket pets which she is fine with. Anai has moderate energy levels and will need a daily walk. She is not yet up to the high pressure environment of a dog park as it will be too intimidating for her but she will enjoying walking along with other dogs around.

During her time in care Anai has been enjoying bush walks where she doesn’t stray far from her carer and had fun exploring this laid back environment. She knows how to sit and is good on the lead. At night she sleeps on her bed in the foster carers room or on the bed with him. Anai is happy to chill around the home and relax. As she settles into a new home there will be small things that Anai does not know that she will need to be taught and she would benefit from some training classes to help build her confidence and bond with her new owners.

We are looking for quieter household for Anai with experienced owners who are going to have the knowledge to continue to build her confidence in new situations. Her more timid nature means that we are looking for an adult household without the intensity of children and if there is a resident dog it will be stable and well-balanced. Anai should be allowed inside the home to be with the family and will need a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night.
