Junin

If you’re looking for a snuggle pot then Junin is your man! He is an inquisitive little pup and loves to go out in the garden exploring in the sun. He plays very nicely with his siblings and other the other dogs he is in care with and is a very well-mannered boy.

Junin is doing really well with his training and is learning sit and stay- he is very eager to
please especially when treats are involved. He has been around a range of other dogs and even goats in care and is friendly with all! He is great with kids and loves to hop up on the lounge and have a snuggle with whoever is there.

Potential adopters need to be aware that given the current situation, adopting a puppy
comes with some difficulties. There are few opportunities for puppies to be socialised with other dogs, people and places so potential owners need to have thought out a way of providing a new puppy with these experiences to avoid behavioural problems later on in life. Puppy schools are not running at this point in time, so we will be looking for a family with previous dog experience to ensure the puppy gets adequately trained in these challenging times.

Another concern given the current situation is the fact that most people are working from home at present. This is a wonderful opportunity to have the time to settle a new puppy in, however it does present some challenges when people return to work. We are looking for a family whose work schedule will not change drastically once life returns to normal or a family with another dog at home who can also get the puppy used to being alone with their resident dog.

Junin will have moderate exercise needs and will need a good long walk daily to fullfil his needs. Once life returns to normal, we are looking for a family to include him in daily activities and let him experience the joys of places like the beach, bush and parks.
He must be part of the family and provided with a warm comfy bed to sleep on inside at night.
