About Charlotte
Charlotte is a very sweet, energetic almost two-year-old Kelpie x.
Since she has been in care, she has shown she can sit, stay and walk both
on and off lead. Her recall is great, and she likes all types of people and dogs.
Happy to give kisses and smooch into you.
She was afraid of the resident cats at first now she wants to play with them,
and while they don’t necessarily want to play back, she does take the swipes
they give her with the grain of salt.
She would do best in a home with another dog and people that are home often, and that are experienced with the kelpie breed.
Charlotte would benefit with more training to refine what she already knows and to gain new skills.
She is toilet trained and now knows how to use the doggie door.
She loves to run and play with the resident kelpie, she is also happy to play by herself throwing the toy in the air and catching it. Loves the squeaky toys especially. Happy to rip them apart too!
She can be a bit vocal in the car, and will bark and chase the cars going past, it's not every time however, sometimes she will sit and whine when they go past, she has improved since arriving in care so with a bit more work she will be able to travel without issue
Overall, Charlotte is a beautiful dog both on the outside and in and would
make an ideal complain to someone who wants a companion in life.
