About Mitch
Mitch is friendly, cheeky, energetic and a lover of people. Mitch is cuddly and needs a home that allows him to be inside. Mitch would best suit a home where he is not left alone for long periods of time. Mitch is happiest when he is on your knee or snuggling up to you on the couch.
Mitch would be best as the only dog in the home and with no cats. Mitch is a typical JRT, extremely intelligent and loves people, pats and positive praise. Mitch is still a puppy and is learning lots of skills that he missed training for in his early development. Mitch needs a home where the family are patient, he needs to have some training on lead and socialising with other dogs.
Mitch is toilet trained, but doesn’t like going out in the rain – so needs to be prompted. Mitch needs support learning things about the world, so needs to be walked and exposed to new things that he hasn’t seen before or that scare him (such as motor bikes). Mitch would be best suited to children over 10 and would love to have someone to play fetch with. Mitch will make a family happy as long as they are willing to put time into teaching him and gently introducing him to new things.
