About Tiger (In Foster)
Hello I’m Tiger – yes I know I don’t look like a tiger and I am not a cat, but that’s my name! Perhaps it is because being a greyhound I am as graceful and athletic as one? Anyhow, I am a distinguished older gentleman, a little silver around the whiskers perhaps but that just means I am wearing the badge of wisdom. Think of me like George Clooney, handsome, grey, and he gets all the ladies!
I have plenty of life and love to give, I just need a someone to give it to. I hear there are wonderful comfy things called sofas where people and lucky houndies can spend their evenings curled up together – I would like to try one of those. I hear these lucky houndies only have to run to their foodbowl and bed (and only if they want to). I like the sound of being part of a family, and I don’t ask for much. I get on well with other dogs I have met, as long as they are respectful and not too overbearing. I have also been friendly with small humans that I have met. I am the quiet type and despite being a bigger boy I honestly won’t take up much room.

Adoption details
We will send you an application form to complete and return. Then we will arrange a house check. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home! We can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks. We have dogs that are small dog and cat friendly.
We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
