About Vader
Our big, beautiful boy "Vader" is ready to bless your life. Vader is a sweet and loyal soul. He is loving life and would like nothing more than to find a family to call his own. Vader is good with other dogs, is very gentle with kids, but not a fan of pocket pets or other animals. He loves to play with toys, fetch and also tug o war are his favorites. Other things he loves are water, walks, and adventures. We would have to say though, his favorite thing of all is being with, and following his people everywhere. He is a typical German Shepherd and those that have experience with Shepherd's will know exactly what we mean.
Vader is a very clever boy and already knows how to sit, drop, go to bed, wait for food, how to walk on lead and already has good recall. He has other tricks up his sleeve to (including how to open doors )
We are looking for a home that will include Vader in all aspects of their lives, have someone home for part of the day, are committed to provide physical and mental stimulation for Vader to enjoy his life.
Vader is going to make a family very, very happy. We love him dearly and he has been a pleasure to have in care.
Medical notes
Vader has had (UAP) surgery on his right front elbow.
His surgery was a great success and he is feeling great.
Adoption details
All forms (including foster and adoption) can be found at the following link:
http://www.challyanimalrescue.org.au/adopt.php
** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
