The health and safety of our foster carers, volunteers, animals and visitors to the rescue is our main priority. Due to the State of Emergency that is now in place in Victoria, we will not be holding Adoption Days for a while. We will, however, have Meet and Greets in the carer's homes so if you see a kitten you'd like to meet head to www.2ndchancecatrescue.com.au and fill out.an application form. We can then forward it to the right carer who will contact you to arrange a time that suits you both to come and meet the kitten. Due to social distancing requirements and restrictions to people visiting households, we would request that only one member of the adoption party is permitted to visit during a meet and greet. Measures including hand sanitizers will be utilized before paperwork is signed to encourage infection control and session times will be set to a maximum of half an hour, thus ensuring your safety and the fosterer’s safety. Full payment in cash may be made at the property and will be handled by the foster carer with gloves and sanitized appropriately.
