Hi, I'm Stella and I'm looking for a new family to call my own.
What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• A doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socialising with other dogs
• A cat may be ok with a slow introduction.
• I like both male and female dogs
• I have lots of energy so an active family is a must
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• Lots of love and attention
Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Small children due to being bouncy
My best features:
• LOVE people
• Happy to hang out with other dogs
• Very playful
• I can sit on command
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
Where I need to improve / Training required
• I can be a bit bouncy -training should stop this
• I can get highly stimulated in some environments (like a noisy shelter) and I can get very excited and may redirect my excitement to someone by nipping or biting – Training required to stop this
ANY EXISTING DOGS AT HOME MUST COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET STELLA BEFORE AN ADOPTION CAN BE APPROVED
