IMPORTANT NOTICE

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING FOR A DOG

We are very concerned about the health of our volunteers and their families.
To protect them, we require you to read the following and answer honestly before any meet and greets can be organised.

IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS

Any of these symptoms, or any family member displaying, we ask you to wait before applying for a dog -

* Coughing or sneezing
* runny or blocked nose
* shortness of breath
* high temperature or fever
* sore throat
* aches or pains
* other flu like symptoms

If you have returned from overseas or been on a cruise anywhere in the world, please do not apply within 2 weeks of your return to Australia.

If you are in self isolation, please do not apply, you need to stay at home.

Thank you for valuing our carers health, knowing that a false declaration will endanger them and any future animals that we would be unable to help.

Arky is a gorgeous girl who cannot get enough kisses and cuddles. She has a very sweet temperament and is very focused on her humans. She loves to get out and about on her walks however her favourite time is definitely her couch time on your lap at the end of the day.

Arky is very friendly with humans, other dogs and has no issues with cats. She knows simple commands, walks well on a lead and is toilet trained. She can be a little anxious at times if voices are raised or if you ask her to do something a few times, she will need an owner who is calm and reassuring and who makes her feel safe.

She does not like to be left on her own so she would suit someone who can be with her a lot of the time. She loves to be inside with her humans as a part of the family. She is crate trained and feels secure in her crate.
