About Big Ben
Big Ben. If you ever dreamed living with an oversized big soft cuddly teddy bear, then 37kg Big Ben is right up your ally. He is so big and young that he has no idea how to use his feet, yet he is a cruisey dude that loves a pat and more importantly, will lay for hours on end while you brush him and cater to his every need. I mean he is a greyhound after all.
Big Ben has some very specific requires so please read them and ONLY APPLY if you fit all of the requirements
- He needs a mans man to be his owner and be the one in charge of him. He is strong but with some guidance by you, this will change.
- Previous large dog/Greyhound experienced home only
- Due to his size no children under 14.
- Big backyard a must - do not apply if you have a townhouse or unit. he is not suited to "dog park" lifestyles.
One step up from lazy lout, he needs very little external exercise and would be happy for a few times a week around the block. Having said that, he won't object to watching TV and snoozing the day through either and will adapt to whatever is going.
Ben is located in Wollongong in a foster home and will need any new home to come and meet him in person. He is fine with other greyhounds and has not been tested with small dogs so will not be placed with them. We would prefer Ben to be in a home on his own and again, will only go to a home with a large yard and is not suitable for apartment/townhouse living. Can only be adopted in NSW/ACT and no time wasters please if you do not fit the criteria above. He is a cracker of a young dog that will need some rules and guidance by someone who understands a bit of patience will pay off for a great friend for years to come.

Adoption details
All greyhounds are desexed, vaccinated and have a full dental before rehoming. They are also lifetime registered in New South Wales once they have settled into their new homes.
****Cats***** - Our regional dogs are not tested with cats due to not having the facility or resources. For that reason, we are unable to place any of our dogs in a cat home. For a cat-friendly greyhound, please contact our head office at gapnsw.com.au to go on the waitlist.
