About Jasper
I'm trying a new home to see if i like it. Jasper the friendly dog
if he has a lap to sit on then jasper is happy! he is an absolute joy to be with and very smart. Although he looks gorgeous in this picture, at other angles jasper has a very ‘foxy like’ appearance with a beautiful tinge of red in his coat. Jasper is a very quiet dog and is content just to have some company. During the day he will follow you around the home or laze in the garden and he loves to share long cuddles at night - especially when you talk to him about your day! when jasper arrived in foster care he was so desperate for attention that he shared hundreds of kisses a minute but now he has settled down to be a still affectionate, but much more relaxed boy. He is growing in confidence and his tail is starting to get used to wagging again, especially at meal time. Jasper's carers think he would fit best into a home with an older couple as, although he adores children, he may prefer a more relaxed atmosphere where he can get his dose of daily and nightly attention but we're sure he would love to have grandchildren visit! jasper is starting to remember how to fetch, he is house trained and is a very clean dog who loves to be brushed. He walks so well on the lead that his carer's often have to check he is still attached! \ jasper is a little nervous with loud traffic but we are sure this is just temporary and will disappear in the next week or so. He is fine when left for a few hours and is always overjoyed to see you on your return but does not like to be left outside for long periods of time, especially after dusk. If to be left alone for long periods then jasper will need a playmate. He is is pretty passive and would love to have another doggy friend to keep him active and entertained. Jasper is a house dog and has a fairly low maintenance coat that just requires a bath, brush and occasional trim. Jasper comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $350.
