About Pip
Hi, my name is Pip!
I’m a five month old, Red and Tan Kelpie girl with a happy, confident nature! I’m a very active and playful girl with loads of energy and I love being busy! Whether it’s running and chasing my foster brothers, keeping watch over my backyard or socializing with the family, I like to be on the go!
I love all people, kids included, and I’m always ready for attention and cuddles.
Since I arrived at my foster home, I have quickly learned to walk well on a lead and I’m looking forward to learning other new things. My foster Mum says I learn quickly and I’m looking forward to playing new games and learning new things from my humans so that I don’t get bored and so that I can become the best dog I can be. I love coming indoors with the family, and I think I’ve got the toilet training thing sorted!
I’m living with my foster brothers and I’m very sociable with other dogs as well as people. I’ve been living with a group of dogs all my life, and I would love to continue to live with another active dog who will give me confidence as I learn about the world and who will help to keep me entertained! I’m a very athletic girl, so I would love to be a running buddy or to play dog sports such as Agility! I think I would be a superstar at that as I’m very agile and light on my feet! I need to have some space to run, so a home on a hobby farm would also be great for me! A family with a bit of experience with working dogs would suit me best.
I’m a very intelligent and active girl, and my forever family will need to understand my need for lots of exercise and mental stimulation throughout my life, regardless of where we live. I am looking for a forever family who will have lots of time to spend with me and who will include me in their everyday lives with lots of activity and adventures. I’m a country girl who hasn’t seen much of the world as yet, so I can’t wait to start seeing the world with my forever family!
I’m currently located in Melbourne and I love meeting new people, so I hope I will see you soon!

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.
http://farmdogz.com.au/adoption-application-form/
3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.
**PLEASE NOTE: WE ASK THAT YOU PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT US BEFORE FILLING IN OUR ONLINE ADOPTION FORM**.
We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
