Vessie is such a special girl and will make an amazing, loyal companion when she finds her forever family. Since coming in foster care she has blossomed. Vessie would have to be one of the calmest, most loving Kelpies her foster family has ever had. She has adjusted to family life perfectly, enjoying having her safe space and lots of human kindness. She is so gentle and polite with the two children, 11 and 14, in her foster home. She doesn't jump, loves cuddles and playing ball, she even enjoys the kids dressing her up!
Vessie is fully housetrained and sleeps in either her crate or bed without a fuss all night. Vessie is very smart and knows all her basic commands. She is an absolute dream to take on walks now she has mastered her head halter. Vessie is very good with other dogs as long as they are gentle, she is not keen on playing with boisterous dogs and unsure about cats.
Vessie is looking for her very own home where she will be loved and be part of the family. She is very easy going and well behaved and will require a calm environment with a regular routine and a commitment to continue allowing her to be included in family activities and your day to day life. Vessie would be happy being an only dog or a home with a similar not to high energy companion. She likes long walks and spending time relaxing with her family.
If you think you could offer Vessie the life she so deserves please fill out the application link below.
