About Winston (now on trial adoption)
Meet Winston 💛
This boy has just come into care with us and already we are in love! He is affectionate and a nice easy dog to handle and be around and very calm for such a young dog. Winston's pound notes say that he has grown up with little kids and was careful and respectful of their space. He 's obedient and has good call back and is good in the car. He walks well on leash. Winston is good with other dogs and loves a game of chase with his doggy friends and is gentle with the little dogs he plays with (as you can see in the videos).
Winston cannot be rehomed with cats or chooks .
This lovely boy is looking for a home where he will be an inside/outside dog and made a part of the family joining in family activities and fun. He wants his new family to continue his socialisation and training. He's only young and still has lots to learn.
If you would like to meet Winston, he'd love to hear from you. He is currently in care in Centennial Park (Sydney). All our dogs have a two week trial period in their new home.

Please email us at poundrescue@yahoo.com with your phone number, a brief description of the family home you can offer - the number of adults and children in the home, other pets, how long the animal would be left on its own each day, whether your fencing is secure and so on. We try and answer all enquiries asap but you are welcome to follow up your email with a phone call to our foster carer co-ordinator Debra on 0412 698 117. We will put you in touch with the animal's foster carer.
If an animal is adopted inter-state we can help organise transport . The cost of transport is paid by the adopting family.
All our animals are desexed, vaccinated, wormed and microchipped. Our adoption fee covers our basic costs.
