About Stella ~ beautiful 9mo Beagle (On trial 9/4/20)
Meet Stella! Stella is a happy, healthy 9 month old Beagle with an adventurous streak - classic Beagle personality!
Stella was surrendered at no fault of her own and is now looking for her forever home. She had lived outside previously but with the help of her foster brothers, has picked up on toilet training quickly and is now free to move inside and outside as she pleases.
Stella has started to learn some basic manners. Her foster mum says she's incredibly food motivated, but will need ongoing positive reinforcement training to ensure she becomes the perfect companion. Due to her high energy breed, Stella is suited to a home that can commit to getting her the exercise and mental enrichment she needs, to prevent her from getting up to no good and to keep her in a healthy weight range. Stella loves games where she gets to use her incredibly powerful nose, so a decent yard with secure fencing is essential. She is not suited to an apartment.
Stella loves to rough and tumble with her foster brothers, but sometimes doesn't know when to stop. If you have a calm, older dog then that would be ideal to help her understand when to settle. She's not suited to a home with cats or pocket pets, and would be best with children over 10.

(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
