About Steven
Why howdy there, the names Steven.
I'm a country boy looking to find a place to kick of my boots and rest my hat.
I have worked the land for many years from crops to cattle, you name it I have worked it. But now the time has come to settle down and make a commitment to a home and family.
I am a big boy, with a big heart and I have so much love left in my old bones.
My ideal home would see me with an adult family, or a family with teenage children as I am an independent lad who likes to do things his way. I am a confident boy who is talkative and affectionate.
IN my previous home I loved to sleep in the bed and curl up next to my owner to watch the TV.
I am worried about other animals (dogs & cats) so I would be best as a solo pet in my new home. I have lived as an indoor/outdoor cat and would like my new home to be able to offer me the same lifestyle.
Unfortunately I had to be surrendered to BARC as my owners housing situation changed and they could no longer keep me, but they said that whoever adopted me would be so so lucky to have me in their lives.
SO what do you say? Wanna come and meet this cow boy?
Give BARC a call on (03) 5441 2209 to make a booking.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
