About Penelope (indoor home only)
This little cherub is Penelope, who just wants to be loved by humans only! She is a real gem, very calm, content and cuddly. She adores her food, isn’t picky and just needs love, love, love!! Can you provide her all she needs?
While guinea pigs are herd animals and need a companion of another of their own kind, occasionally one will come along who, despite numerous attempts to find them a friend, will not accept any guinea pig as a cage mate. Due to Penelope being re-homed as a single guinea pig, she will need an indoor home where she can be included as part of her human family and receive lots of attention.

Qld Guinea Pig Refuge is located at Bracken Ridge, North Brisbane.
The adoption fee for our guinea pigs is $25 each. Desexed guinea pigs are $35 each. They come fully health checked; worm and mite treated; and have been living at their foster carer’s house where they receive handling time.
