Hi everyone!!
My name is Juliet. As part of the Valentine's litter (we were rescued on Valentine's day!) I am very excited to be ready to find my very own furever home!
My mum, siblings and I were found on the footpath in a small town... we don't know if stray or dumped! We were very scared, covered in fleas, and very thin. My rescue gave mum blood tests, and she came back disease free thankfully! We got a premium diet, lots of love, and all our vet work done when we were old enough.
I currently live with other cats, and dogs. I am not a huge fan of dogs, but I am used to them. I haven't met human children yet but am very eager to be loved, so as long as kids are gentle with me, I should go great!
I can be very shy when you first meet me. I am a cat that needs you to understand not everyone needs to be the life of the party! It will take me a few days to come out of my shell, but once I do, be ready for alllllll the purrs and snuggles.
So what do you think? Could I be the one for you?

Adoption details
NOTE we do expect all cats adopted from Off The Chain K9 Rescue Qld to be adequately contained in the home or suitable enclosure. We do not condone roaming cats!!
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following:
- Real estate approval
- Other resident pets fully vaccinated
- The rescue pet's dietary requirements eg breed, age
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the OTC Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal. We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applicants may meet the animal. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the pet at your home, or in a public place. If you have other pets they must be at the meet. You may be required to travel to the pet; we infrequently have admins available to drive extensive distance and it also says a lot if someone is able yet unwilling to come to the animal they have applied for. If for example you cannot drive, feel free to talk with us about possibility of travel to you.
At the meet if you and the pet get along you have the option of either taking the pet on the spot (in exchange for signed contract and the full adoption fee paid upfront) or placing the pet on hold for up to 2 days with a $100 non-refundable holding deposit. This deposit is then taken off the original adoption fee should you proceed with the adoption. Should you place a hold, we will not proceed other applicants until you have removed your hold or adopted the animal.
*PLEASE NOTE we do not hold pets without a non-refundable holding deposit of $100. If you are unwilling to put a deposit on the pet, we will continue to advertise and speak with other potential adopters, so you may miss out. We have had to make the deposit is non refundable to avoid time-wasters. The $100 holding deposit is then subtracted from the outstanding adoption fee, which is to be paid at collection of the pet. Eg if full adoption fee is $450, and you place a $100 holding fee on the animal- the day you collect the pet you will sign an adoption contract and pay the remaining $350 fee of which $75 is non-refundable.
All animals are adopted out with vaccinations up to date; if for example you are adopting a young animal it may not have had a full protocol yet due to age- so any vaccinations due from date of adoption are the ethical and financial responsibility of the adopter. During the trial period, should the pet become ill, you must notify OTC, and present it to the OTC-approved vet clinic we direct you to in your area. OTC will cover any treatment needed at our authorised clinics.
So. Ready to roll? Then fill out the attached short form, and we will be in contact to successful applicants asap. Feel free to follow us up via Facebook page inbox. (www.facebook.com/offthechaink9)
