Cola

My name is Cola, and true to my name, I am a cool, sweet and bubbly gentleman of 8 years who found myself in the shelter as a cruelty case. I haven’t let that hold me back though!

I’m a small ~9 kg crossbreed of all things nice, and am good with people and other dogs of all sizes. I walk very well on lead, with a tail wag for everyone I meet, dogs and humans alike (to be honest, I’d like to get much closer to them but we’re practising social distancing). I need a good walk everyday to keep me trim and fit, and get my energy out, and would love to be as involved as possible in your day to day activities.

I’d be best suited to a home with a confident dog, or a home without another canine companion so long as my humans were around more often than not. I am strictly an inside dog and mastered the doggy door in less than a hour, easy peasy! I am quiet and would suit an apartment, as long as I am exercised appropriately and kept entertained. Being extremely food motivated, I am very trainable and I sleep well in a crate through the night. My coat will need a good brush a few times a week and the occasional trip to the groomers.

Having just had the snip, I can be a little too forward with less dominant dogs but that is getting better by the day. Like any dog, I will need a few days to settle in to my new life and have boundaries put in place to be my best self.
